Ms. Van Pelt is a Senior Vice President at William Hood & Company, a differentiated industry-focused investment banking firm covering the Consumer, Food and Retail sectors with a specialization in Health and Wellness. Ms. Van Pelt works across the Beauty & Personal care and Health & Wellness practices. ​

Prior to joining William Hood and Company, Ms. Van Pelt spent 5 years at Houlihan Lokey, where she was an Associate in the Consumer, Food and Retail practice focusing on mergers and acquisitions in the middle market. Her experience includes advising on  the sale of Troy Lee Designs to 2Ride Holdings, a portfolio company of Eurazeo; the sale of Nutrition21 to Everwell Health, a portfolio Company of RoundTable Healthcare Partners; the sale of Metagenics to Gryphon Investors; the acquisition of Uqora by Pharmavite; Sky Organics’ receipt of a strategic investment from Nexus Capital Management, the sale of InstaNatural to an affiliate of Monogram Capital, the acquisition of SmartyPants by Unilever; the sale of Liquid I.V. to Unilever; the sale of W3LL People to e.l.f. Cosmetics, and the sale of Zarbee’s to Johnson & Johnson and the sale of PCA Skin to Colgate-Palmolive, among other transactions. ​Previously, Ms. Van Pelt was an Associate in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Advisory Services practice and an Associate in Duff & Phelps’ Valuation Advisory Services practice, where she focused on providing third party valuations for accounting and tax purposes as well as transaction opinions. ​

Ms. Van Pelt received a B.A. in International Studies with a concentration in Economics from Boston College. ​
